Windows release that moves updates to a new signing key, with small reliability fixes.
Highlights
- Updates are now checked against a new signing key shared by all Baker utilities
- Closed windows release their memory instead of staying attached to the High Contrast setting
- A preferences save that fails no longer leaves a temporary file behind
- Fill Form reports a clear reason when the Assistant's response stream fails without saying why
Requirements
- Windows 10 version 1809 or later (build 17763)
- 64-bit (win-x64) self-contained installer-free executable
Notes
Installed copies of 1.0.15 and earlier cannot verify this update, because they trust the previous signing key. Download 1.0.16 once from this page and replace your copy. Later updates then install from inside the application as before.
This release is distributed as an unsigned executable. Verify the published SHA-256 checksum before running. Auto-update trust comes from the separately signed stable manifest, not Authenticode on the executable.
