Window captures now contain only the window, with nothing from behind it around the edges.
Highlights
- No more border from behind the window. Window captures used to include a few pixels of whatever was behind the window, because Windows counts an invisible resize border as part of the window. Captures and the window picker now use the window's visible edge
- Clean outline and corners. The thin, partly transparent outline Windows draws around a window is trimmed off. On Windows 11, rounded corners are transparent with a smooth edge in saved PNGs, and white where a format or app has no transparency, such as JPG or the clipboard
Requirements
- Windows 10 version 1809 or later (build 17763)
- 64-bit (win-x64) self-contained installer-free executable
Notes
Installed copies of 1.1.2 and later update from inside the application as usual. Copies of 1.1.1 and earlier trust the previous signing key and cannot verify this update; download 1.1.4 once from this page and replace your copy.
This release is distributed as an unsigned executable. Verify the published SHA-256 checksum before running. Auto-update trust comes from the separately signed stable manifest, not Authenticode on the executable.
